Sacrament of Marriage
-The couple must schedule an appointment with the Pastor at least six months prior to their wedding date to initiate the process of Marriage Preperation. After meeting with the Pastor the process for preperation of the Wedding Packet will begin.
-The couple must provide the church an updated Baptilsm Certificate with notations of all of the sacraments recieved, and the Marriage License and/or a Marriage Certificate in addition to any other necessary documentation required, with ample time before the scheduled date of marriage.

b) In case notations are not stated on the Baptism Certificate, you will need to provide First Communion, and Confirmation certificates; each must be current (issued by the church within six months before the marriage date or up to one year after marriage preperations began).
c) If you are already married, you must provide a copy of your Marriage Certificate.
d) A marriage license from the Bexar County Courthouse must be obtained two or three weeks before the wedding. Texas law requires that the marriage ceremony may not be performed during the 72 hours immediately after the marriage license was issued; however the license is valid for 90 days.
-Couples are to buy the "Together for Life" handbook for the ceremony. The form in the back must be filled out with the readings (1st Reading, Psalm, 2nd Reading) that will be read on the day of the Wedding celebration. Three individuals must be chosen to proclaim the Word of Our Lord.
-The bride and groom MUST go to Confession one week before the Wedding (Confessions at St. Lawrence are Monday-Friday at 8 am, on Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 to 5:50 pm
-ALL MUSIC for the Mass must be approved by the Pastor before the ceremony. The music selections must be presented to the Pastor and approved 2 weeks prior to the ceremony.
-For Cancellations / Changes: Call the parish office for any changes to the contract (new phone number, address, date change, wedding cancellation, etc.)
