In order to have a Eucharistic celebration for a Quinceañera or Debut at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the following guidelines must be followed:

Quinceañeras / Debuts

• The debutant needs to be a practicing Catholic and must have received all the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation).
• The debutant needs to be enrolled and/or attending Religious Education classes in preparation for Confirmation,
• The debutant needs to attend the five week Quinceañera Course, and must be attending Holy Mass regularly.
• If the debutant belongs to another parish, a letter of permission is required from that parish in order for the celebration to occur at St. Lawrence.
• If the debutant is enrolled in a Religious Education program that is NOT at St. Lawrence parish, a letter stating that she is being prepared for Confirmation is needed. The letter must be in the church letterhead and signed by the Director of Religious Education or the Pastor from that parish.
• The debutant MUST go to Confession one week before the celebration (Confessions at St. Lawrence are on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 to 5:50 pm)
• The court of honor, debutant, parents, and sponsors, MUST attend the previous rehearsal (date and time will be provided by the parish office).
