The St. Lawrence Altar Society was founded on September 1959, an organization that opened its doors to men and women of the parish to come together and assist with all the needs of the Altar and the church environment.
The Altar Society is responsible for maintaining the Altar, the Tabernacle, the Blessed Sacrament chapel, and the foyer of the church in its liturgical colors, as well as keeping all these sacred spaces clean and organized. The Society's mission is to provide the upmost service to the House of God, give love and caring words of inspiration to those who are seeking comfort, and to be a servant of Mary for the praise and honor of her Son, Jesus Christ. Members feed their souls spiritually when doing the work of God.
The Society members worship together at Mass every 1st Saturday of each month, and meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM, with the exception of July and August.
